2009 Season Officially Underway ! |

 Summer is here and that can only mean one thing: marching band season is here again! Summer camps on the Catholic parking got underway Tuesday thru Thursday with all sections particpating. The colorguard (with new staff members Leah and Jenn) was doing some hard-core spinning; I don't think the rifles put their weapons down for more than 5 minutes all three days. The battery was outside marching and the pit was working inside with their new front ensemble tech Zach Wilt. The winds were outside learning how to stand up and walk ! All performers showed great attitudes and strong a work ethic: trademarks of the Lancaster Catholic program.
Summer continues with additional Summer Camp sessions July 7-9 and July 14-16. Mini camp for the guard starts early this year on July 20th while percussion and wind players meet for mini camp on the traditional 2 weeks before band camp on August 3-6. Band camp this year begins on August 17.
